Farming Build - Ele/Monk - Glint's Challenge - Normal Mode &

This is farmed for the Destroyer Cores. Cores sell for 500-550 gold each.

This build can farm the first Destroyer wave in Glint’s Challenge, Normal Mode.

Core drops per run = 1 to 6 and takes approximately 7 minutes.

Also collect all other drops and sell to merchant. You also get the odd gold and dye drop.

Best place to sell the cores is in the Central Transfer Chamber. 250 cores are required for the Destroyer gloves and cores are generally easy to sell at any time.

Upon entering cast Mending and Balthazar's Spirit.

You need to take up a position between the 2 entrances so that you can take aggro from both groups, thereby protecting the baby dragon.

Just before taking aggro cast Armor of Earth, Stoneflesh Aura and Obsidian Flesh.

IMPORTANT: Whilst taking aggro always maintain Stoneflesh Aura and Obsidian Flesh. Always use Glyph of Swiftness before casting Obsidian Flesh so that you can maintain it 100% of the time.

Wait until all the Destroyers have spawned and you are taking aggro from all of them. Move up to the North East group first, making sure you are maintaining Armor of Earth, Stoneflesh Aura and Obsidian Flesh, and cast Sliver Armor. When Sliver Armor is down cast Radiation Field. Recast Sliver Armor and Radiation Field until the first group is dead. Move now to the South West group and repeat.

IMPORTANT: DO NOT attack Destroyers with your staff, as this will trigger ‘Vengeful Weapon’. All damage you deal is by Sliver Armor and Radiation Field.

This can be done with other professions, (look on Guru for other profession specific builds).


This is a good constant source of income. I recently farmed this for 1 month, 2 hours per day, and made 350k towards my new FOW armour for my Ele.
