Farming -Ele/Mo - HM Hulking Stone Elementals

This build is to farm in Hard Mode the Hulking Stone Elementals outside Sardelac Sanitarium in Prophecies.

Map shows route taken. Bosses can spawn at points 1 & 3

Cast Balthazar’s Spirit and head to point 1. Just prior to aggro cast Armor Of Earth, Flame Djinn’s Haste and Stoneflesh Aura. Gather up Boss, (if spawned), and the 3 groups of 2. Keep Stoneflesh Aura up at all times during aggro. Re-cast Stoneflesh Aura and then Meteor Shower, Savannah Heat, Bed of Coals, Flame Djinn’s Haste and Inferno, (important, cast in quick succession).

If when you exit Sardelac Sanitarium there are Grawl at point 1 just re-zone.

Points 1, 2, 3 and 4 are where I round them up.





If any break aggro just re-cast Armor Of Earth & Stoneflesh Aura, wait for Savannah Heat to finish then recast Djinn’s Haste and Inferno as required.

I would recommend that you do not open the chests. I started to but had 10 purples in a row, (unless you want them towards your title).

Avoid Grawl and Gargoyles, this build is just for Hulking Stone Elementals only.

The good thing this is that each run only takes a few minutes.

Like any farming these days drop rates can vary over each run. The main benefit of this farming location is that each run is quick so drops will mount up over a period of time.


Possible Drops:
White Items – ID and sell to merchant
Blue Items - ID and generally sell to merchant
Purple Items - ID and generally sell to merchant
Gold Items
Warrior Tomes
Elite Tomes from Bosses (rare)
Lockpicks
Dyes

Why id white stuff ?

If you ID your white drops they will sell for approx 15% more at the trader.

The extra gold recieved this way more than covers the cost of the ID kit.

Only worth doing with drops in the latter stages of the game or hard mode.

might give this a go if my ele ever makes it far enough to have access to HM :p

It's not just in hard mode - start ti ID them from any level 20 foes onwards

i've been ID'ing them since you said that. it really does make a pretty big difference, even for white items. thanks
