I'm new On Gw

Hy all!!!
I'm Mihailo,I'm 15.Killer soft heart and i are the best Friend,He tell me for this game(TNX Killer)
After long time play WoW(World of Warcraft),I try play something else(GW)
For first experience on this game,Not bad,I got 7lvl in 1 day...Only what i like on this game is PVP,because i like kill enemy!!!
I was the best TANK on WoW(www.toxic-wow.com)

In general go damage, as there no such thing as rage or agro absorbing or whatever it is called on WoW.

WoW and Gw is different about Tank!!!

In WoW,tank must take big aggro and boss must attack only him
In Gw,tank can be Monk,warrior...
I was Tank for PVE,but i has items for PVP

Guild wars doesn't work as a standard MMO.
You can go tank, nukes (area damage I mean with that) and healers but it doesn't work well.
As I already said there is no such thing as mob control what so ever (you can bodyblock though).
So the tank has to position himself in such a way that he makes it inpossible for the mob to get to the other people of his group.
Needless to say there is a high chance of error and at times enemys even run past him if he is positioned correct.

So the "traditional" MMO way works but not extremly well (actually it sucks big time).

So you have/can use different tactics who work in general waaay better.

In gw there is also such a thing as balance; meaning that no proffesion is UBER powerfull or UBER weak.
(although that isn't totally correct; paragons are extremly powerfull even UBER powerfull in the right hands, same goes for rits, mesmers and assassins but then again ONLY in the right hands; it requires quite a high level of understanding of the game and situation to actually be able to (ab)use these proffesions this way. This means only a few can actually make em this UBER powerfull (sidenote it is ALL about situations and there is a high chance this sounds like chinese to you wich is normal; as it isn't the average MMORPG situation.))

In pvp you have to PLAY together to win.

So no lonly INSTA kill rogues
No lonly ice mages
No ¨[insert overpowerd combo] [insert proffesion]

It is all about how good you play together.

Also no such thing as gear in gw.

max lvl armor is max lvl armor no 1337 bonuses what so ever.

This means that in pvp; 8 guys in fow armor (THE most expensive max lvl -gear- in gw) who play sway (sway= a teambuild for pvp, whom is (according to pvp people, but I tend to disagree) unbelievable overpowerd) but don't play together WILL get destroyed in a mather of milliseconds if they have to fight against 8 guys in 1k armor (THE most cheapest max lvl -gear- in gw) who play balanced (a not so overpowered team build; but a build that can survive in most situations) who do play together as a team.

The last thing I mentioned is ,supposely, the biggest change for an ex-WoW player.
Gear is of NO importance; having a great solo build is of NO importance
but being able to play together and have a build that fits well with the rest of the team is EXTREMLY important.
